Apply & track with Apply EdgeDussmann Ajlan & Bros is pleased to announce a new career opportunity for the position of Procurement Officer, based in Saudi Arabia.Description:The Procurement Officer will be responsible for supporting procurement activities, sourcing qualified suppliers, obtaining and analyzing quotations, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, products, and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.The role will also involve supplier relationship management, purchase order processing, delivery follow-up, and coordination with internal departments to ensure procurement requirements are fulfilled efficiently.Technical KnowledgeGood knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes.Knowledge of supplier sourcing, evaluation, and relationship management.Understanding of RFQ processes, quotation analysis, and price negotiation.Knowledge of Purchase Order processing and procurement documentation.Familiarity with ERP and computerized procurement systems.Understanding of supplier performance monitoring, cost control, quality, and delivery requirements.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Understanding of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesSource, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers and contractors.Prepare and issue RFQs and obtain competitive quotations.Review, compare, and analyze supplier quotations.Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.Prepare, process, and follow up on Purchase Orders.Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and contractors.Monitor supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, and delivery.Identify potential supplier risks and support alternative sourcing when required.Assist in developing and maintaining reliable supplier sources.Coordinate with internal departments to understand and fulfill procurement requirements.Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, and documentation.Prepare procurement reports and provide recommendations to management when required.Ensure procurement activities are properly recorded and maintained within ERP systems.Support cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement of procurement processes.Perform other procurement-related duties as assigned by management.Soft Skills RequiredStrong communication and negotiation skills.Good planning and organizational skills.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail and accuracy.Time management and prioritization.Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.Adaptability and willingness to learn.Experience1–2 years of experience in Procurement or Purchasing.Experience in supplier sourcing, RFQs, quotation analysis, negotiation, and Purchase Orders is preferred.Experience with ERP or computerized procurement systems is preferred.EducationBachelor’s Degree (Mandatory):Business AdministrationSupply Chain ManagementProcurementLogisticsOr a related field.Preferred Skills & Certifications:Professional certification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Logistics is an advantage.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Experience with ERP / Procurement systems.Job Details:Location: Saudi ArabiaEmployment Type: Full-timeIf you are a motivated Procurement Officer with strong negotiation skills, and a passion for procurement, we invite you to apply and join our growing team.
