Procurement Officer

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in the construction industry.Strong experience in building construction projects is mandatory.Experience with a reputable main contractor is preferred.SAP experience is mandatory, particularly in procurement and purchase order processes.Experience in sourcing construction materials, equipment, and services.Ability to prepare RFQs, obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, and issue purchase orders.Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials as per project requirements.Good knowledge of construction materials and local suppliers.Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, and Site teams regarding procurement requirements.Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
