We work closely with clients, consultants, and main contractors to ensure coordinated, compliant, safe, and timely project delivery.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a MEP Procurement Officer for a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.The Procurement Officer will be responsible for end-to-end procurement activities for MEP projects, including sourcing materials, equipment, suppliers, and subcontractors across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and related MEP systems.Key responsibilities include:Source and procure MEP materials, equipment, and services in accordance with project specifications, BOQs, approved material submittals, and budgets.Obtain, review, and compare technical and commercial quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.Prepare comparison statements and support procurement recommendations based on price, quality, specifications, availability, and delivery requirements.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and other commercial terms with suppliers.Prepare and process purchase requests, LPOs/purchase orders, and related procurement documentation.Monitor purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers and project teams to ensure timely material delivery to site.Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Estimation, Finance, and site teams regarding procurement requirements and priorities.Maintain and develop relationships with reliable MEP suppliers and subcontractors within the UAE market.Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier documentation, quotations, purchase orders, and delivery documentation.Support tendering and estimation activities by obtaining updated supplier quotations and current MEP market pricing.Coordinate with Finance/Accounts regarding supplier statements, invoices, payment requirements, and urgent procurement matters.Monitor market pricing and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising technical requirements or quality.Ensure procurement activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and applicable UAE requirements.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience within the MEP, construction, or contracting industry.Previous UAE procurement experience is strongly preferred.Strong knowledge of MEP materials, equipment, suppliers, and market pricing, particularly within the UAE.Good understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and associated MEP materials and systems.Experience reviewing BOQs, technical specifications, material submittals, and supplier quotations.Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.Experience preparing and managing LPOs/purchase orders, comparison statements, and procurement documentation.Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office; experience with ERP/procurement systems is an advantage.Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and coordination skills.Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements simultaneously in a fast-paced project environment.Must be able to work full-time on-site in Abu Dhabi, UAE.Work Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE – On-site
