Procurement Officer – Joinery (Factory)Job Code: POJ-703

Company: Space Builders – Shades Interiors GroupIndustry: Joinery Manufacturing / Interior Fit-OutJOB ROLEManage procurement of joinery materials, timber, MDF, plywood, veneers, laminates, hardware, adhesives, and other factory production requirements.Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, availability, and delivery performance.Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, negotiate prices, and issue purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.Coordinate with Factory Management, Production, Technical, Estimation, and Stores to ensure timely material availability.Review material requisitions, BOQs, BOMs, and technical specifications before purchasing.Monitor purchase orders, supplier commitments, and deliveries to avoid production delays.Coordinate with Stores and QA/QC regarding material receipt, quantities, specifications, and quality concerns.Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, and purchasing reports.Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising material quality or project requirements.Escalate critical material shortages, supplier delays, and procurement risks to Factory Management.JOB REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience in UAE joinery manufacturing or interior fit-out companies.Strong knowledge of joinery materials, accessories, hardware, and manufacturing requirements.Experience reviewing BOQs, BOMs, material requisitions, and technical specifications.Established knowledge of UAE joinery material suppliers and local market pricing.Strong supplier negotiation, purchasing, and cost-control skills.Proficiency in MS Excel, purchasing software, and ERP systems.Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.HOW TO APPLYInterested candidates should send their updated CV to:careers@shadesinteriors.aeEmail Subject: POJ-703 – Procurement OfficerJoin our team and contribute to delivering high-quality joinery manufacturing projects.#Hiring #ProcurementOfficer #Joinery #FactoryJobs #SharjahJobs #Manufacturing #FitOut #SpaceBuilders
