Costing & Quotation ManagementRFQ Preparation: Manage Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes by analyzing technical drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) for electronic components and assemblies.Customer Proposals: Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for customers based on thorough product costing.Spend Analysis: Conduct "Actual vs. Estimated" spend analysis to identify variances and improve future pricing accuracy.2. Strategic Sourcing & Vendor DevelopmentSupplier Identification: Identify and develop a dedicated pool of alternate manufacturers/vendors to ensure supply chain resilience.Negotiation: Evaluate and compare global vendor quotations to negotiate competitive prices, payment terms, and reduced lead times without compromising quality.Global Supply Chain: Coordinate with international suppliers to stay ahead of market trends and component obsolescence.3. Material Planning & Production SupportAssembly Scheduling: Plan material requirements in strict alignment with the assembly schedule to ensure zero downtime.Shortage Management: Proactively track and resolve shortages or "critical-path" items to meet production deadlines.Tracker Maintenance: Maintain real-time material trackers to provide visibility to stakeholders in Sales, Manufacturing, and Management.4.
