As our U.S. business expands, we are looking for a hands-on Procurement Specialist to support our growing local operations and supply chain.About the RoleThe Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, supplier development, and procurement coordination across a wide range of products and services in the U.S.This role will work closely with our U.S. Product, Operations, Logistics, Maintenance, Marketing, and Finance teams, as well as our supply chain teams in China.We are looking for someone who is resourceful, detail-oriented, commercially minded, and comfortable working independently in a fast-growing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSource and purchase indirect materials and services, including MRO supplies, tools, safety equipment, IT hardware/software, office and warehouse supplies, packaging materials, logistics, and professional services.Identify, evaluate, onboard, and maintain relationships with local U.S. suppliers and service providers.Conduct RFQs, price comparisons, commercial negotiations, and supplier evaluations to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and service.Support procurement of software licenses, cloud services, APIs/SDKs, external development, design, and technical services for U.S. product localization.Coordinate purchasing of WowNow equipment, spare parts, and consumables from affiliated teams and suppliers in China.Support purchasing documentation required for international shipments, imports, and customs clearance.Work with internal teams to understand purchasing needs, manage purchase requests, and follow orders through delivery.Maintain purchase orders, contracts, supplier records, pricing information, and other procurement documentation.Support the development and continuous improvement of U.S. procurement processes, supplier onboarding standards, and approval workflows.Track procurement spending, cost savings, supplier performance, lead times, and other key procurement metrics.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Procurement, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.3–5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or related functions.Experience with indirect procurement and multiple purchasing categories.Strong supplier sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management skills.Ability to independently identify and develop suppliers in the U.S. market.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple purchasing requests and priorities simultaneously.Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP or procurement systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is preferred.Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese to effectively communicate with U.S. suppliers and China-based teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience with MRO, logistics, IT/software, cloud services, or professional service procurement.Experience in manufacturing, automation equipment, smart hardware, or technology companies.Experience working in a startup, high-growth company, or newly established U.S. operation.Experience working with cross-border U.S.–China supply chains is a plus.What We’re Looking ForThe ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who enjoys finding solutions, developing suppliers, negotiating better terms, and getting things done.You should be comfortable working independently, adapting quickly to changing business needs, and supporting a growing organization where procurement processes and supplier networks are still being built.
