In this role, the specialist will manage end-to-end procurement activities, including creating and processing purchase orders, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The position involves evaluating and onboarding suppliers, conducting price and terms analysis, and supporting contract negotiations to achieve optimal value and compliance. The specialist will use ProcUrPal’s AI-powered platform to analyze spend data, monitor supplier performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Day-to-day responsibilities also include maintaining accurate procurement records, supporting audit readiness, and contributing to the refinement of procurement workflows and best practices.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong procurement and purchase order management skills, including experience with end-to-end sourcing and purchasing processes.Candidates should possess supplier evaluation skills, including assessing supplier performance, quality, reliability, and compliance.Candidates should possess contract negotiation skills, including the ability to negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels aligned with organizational objectives.Candidates should possess analytical skills, including proficiency in interpreting data, conducting cost analyses, and using insights to drive procurement decisions.Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, commerce, or a related field, and experience in technology-driven or SaaS-based procurement environments are beneficial.Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with ERP systems, strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical, compliant procurement practices.
