The position is responsible for enterprise-wide expenditure tracking, vendor mapping, and reporting, while independently handling trade agreements and terms negotiations across small- to medium-sized commercial categories.Key ResponsibilitiesExpenditure Modeling & Business Intelligence: Aggregate, validate, and interpret spend patterns across multiple international operating divisions, evaluating OPEX, CAPEX, and specialized contractor/equipment outlays. Construct transparent dashboards, cost baselines, and savings realization trackers.Commercial Category Bargaining: Directly lead discussions and close binding commercial agreements for small- and mid-tier spend buckets, securing competitive unit pricing, discounted rate tables, and favorable settlement horizons.Supplier Mapping & Relationship Tracking: Supervise the global vendor index, monitor supplier scorecards, execute onboarding verifications, and uncover opportunities for vendor consolidation and cost reduction.Capital Expenditure & Tactical Inquiries: Support technical purchasing cycles, track CAPEX sanction paths, coordinate competitive tenders (RFQs), and establish reference pricing across specialized goods and services.Procedural Compliance: Support the adoption of centralized purchasing rules, track adherence to delegated approval boundaries, safeguard audit records, and compile operational compliance reviews.Cross-Border Coordination: Partner proactively with operational, technical, and finance heads situated across diverse international time bands.Target Background & AttributesBalanced Core Strengths: Proven competency pairing analytical rigor (data modeling, tracking tools, cost analysis) with direct, hands-on vendor negotiation skills (commercial terms, tariff cards, operational agreements).Experience: 5+ years of solid purchasing experience emphasizing commercial analysis, supplier relationship management, and hands-on sourcing execution.Sector Exposure: Experience gained within project-driven businesses, systems integration, ELV/construction contracting, technical media, or specialized project services environments.Accreditation: CIPS qualification is strongly preferred.Software & Systems: Advanced Excel proficiency; practical background utilizing enterprise ERP platforms and BI dashboards is a notable advantage.Global Aptitude: Confident cross-border communication skills and adaptability to liaise across overlapping global time zones.
