This job holder requires strong analytical skills, negotiation expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of procurement principles.
Job Responsibilities
Sourcing and Vendor Management:Identify potential suppliers and conduct negotiations to secure advantageous terms.Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and assess their performance.Purchase Order Management:Generate and process purchase orders in accordance with established procedures.Ensure accuracy in order details, quantities, and delivery timelines.Cost Negotiation:Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable contract terms.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand budget constraints and cost targets.Contract Review:Review and analyze supplier contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Collaborate with legal and finance teams for contract review and approvals.Market Research:Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and availability of goods and services.Provide recommendations for cost-effective procurement strategies.
