Training Title:Procurement Specialist (Tamheer Program)Training Opportunity Description:The Procurement Specialist will support procurement activities by assessing the material needs and requirements of various organizational units, conducting market research to identify competitive prices and suitable suppliers, and supporting the receipt and evaluation of quotations from suppliers and service providers. The trainee will also contribute to maintaining databases of frequently purchased materials and suppliers, preparing specialized procurement documents and reports, and maintaining comprehensive records of procurement activities in accordance with approved policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Support the assessment of material needs and requirements of various organizational units and assist in establishing purchasing priorities based on organizational requirements.Conduct market research, studies, and analyses to identify competitive purchasing prices, suitable suppliers, and the required quality standards in accordance with approved procurement policies and procedures.Support the receipt and evaluation of quotations and offers from suppliers and service providers in coordination with relevant organizational units, ensuring compliance with approved procurement procedures and requirements.Support the identification and evaluation of suppliers and purchasing opportunities, including gathering and organizing relevant information to support procurement decisions.Develop and maintain databases of frequently purchased materials, prices, and key suppliers, ensuring that information is accurate, organized, and regularly updated.Maintain comprehensive procurement records and files related to purchasing activities in accordance with the approved systems, policies, and procedures.Prepare specialized procurement documents and reports, provide relevant recommendations and appropriate solutions, present and explain findings, and maintain related information in the designated database in accordance with approved policies and procedures.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.Fresh graduate eligible for the Tamheer Program.Basic understanding of procurement, purchasing, supplier management, market research, and supply chain principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.Strong analytical, research, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to collect, analyze, organize, and present procurement-related information effectively.Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation.Professional proficiency in Arabic and working knowledge of English.In addition to the requirements and qualifications stated above, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of the Tamheer Program, in accordance with the requirements outlined in the link below: Tamheer Program – Graduate Development Program Requirements.
