قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجWe are looking to hire a Procurement Specialist who will be responsible for managing procurement activities, supporting strategic sourcing initiatives, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for our client based in Dubai, which is one of the largest companies in the region.This is a permanent role within the organization.We are looking for a passionate Procurement Specialist with strong experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, and category management. You should have a good understanding of procurement processes, spend analysis, market intelligence, and cost optimization, with experience managing suppliers and procurement projects.Key responsibilities:Manage end-to-end procurement activities, from sourcing and supplier evaluation through to negotiation and contract award.Support category management and strategic sourcing initiatives in line with business requirements.Conduct spend analysis, market research, benchmarking, and supplier assessments to identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities.Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Lead or support sourcing projects, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, bid evaluations, negotiations, and recommendations.Monitor supplier performance, commercial terms, service levels, and compliance with contractual requirements.Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, process improvements, and increased procurement efficiency.Ensure procurement activities are aligned with company policies, procedures, and governance requirements.Prepare procurement reports, analysis, and recommendations for management.Collaborate with relevant business functions to understand requirements and deliver effective procurement solutions.Knowledge, skills & experience:Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably with strong exposure to strategic sourcing and category management.Experience in indirect procurement and/or professional services categories is highly preferred.Strong understanding of sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation, contract management, and procurement processes.Experience in spend analysis, market intelligence, benchmarking, and cost optimisation.Strong supplier relationship management and stakeholder management skills.Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple procurement projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Professional procurement certification such as CIPS would be an advantage.UAE experience is preferred.Availability:Preference will be given to candidates available immediately or within a maximum of 30 days after accepting the offer.We are looking for a candidate who will be able to work in United Arab Emirates.
