Procurement Supervisor

MRG is partnering with a leading real estate organisation in Saudi Arabia to appoint an experienced Procurement Supervisor to lead and enhance its procurement, strategic sourcing and vendor management activities.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute procurement professional to take ownership of the procurement function within a growing organisation. Reporting directly to senior executive leadership, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategy, driving cost efficiencies, strengthening supplier relationships and ensuring robust governance across the full procurement lifecycle.The RoleThe Procurement Supervisor will oversee procurement strategy and operations, managing sourcing activities from initial market assessment and vendor qualification through RFQ/RFP processes, commercial negotiation, contracting and purchase order management.Key ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and implementing procurement and strategic sourcing initiatives aligned with organisational objectives.Identifying and evaluating suppliers based on quality, capability, cost and compliance.Managing complex RFQ and RFP processes, including evaluation criteria, vendor presentations, recommendations and business cases.Leading commercial and contractual negotiations and working closely with Legal on contract terms, compliance, SLAs and renewals.Managing preferred supplier relationships, framework agreements and vendor performance.Overseeing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, delivery follow-up and invoice matching.Analysing procurement spend and identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and measurable savings.Ensuring procurement activity complies with Delegation of Authority requirements, Saudi regulations and internal governance standards.Maintaining audit-ready procurement and contractual documentation.Leading and developing a Procurement Specialist while working closely with Finance, Legal, project and operational teams.Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will ideally demonstrate:A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance or a related discipline.7+ years' experience within procurement and supply chain management, including at least 3 years at management or senior level.Strong experience managing complex RFQ/RFP, tendering and vendor selection processes.A proven track record of delivering cost reductions and strategic sourcing initiatives.Excellent contract negotiation and vendor relationship management capabilities.Experience working with procurement/ERP platforms such as Yardi, SAP or equivalent systems.Knowledge of Saudi commercial law and procurement regulations.Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.Previous experience within real estate, construction or property management would be highly advantageous.CIPS, CPM, APICS or another recognised procurement/supply chain qualification would be beneficial.Location & Working PatternOffice-based location in Riyadh, KSA.How to ApplyThis position offers the opportunity to play an influential role in shaping procurement strategy within an established Saudi organisation, with direct exposure to senior leadership and the ability to deliver tangible commercial impact.For a procurement professional who combines commercial acumen, strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking and rigorous governance, this represents an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a highly visible function and contribute to the organisation's continued development.To apply, please click on the link or email your CV to lieneke.erasmus@mrgglobal.com
