Procurement Supervisor (Indirect Procurement)Location: Doha, QatarAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Procurement Supervisor - Indirect Procurement to support procurement operations for a leading hospitality organization based in Doha, Qatar. The role will be responsible for managing day-to-day procurement activities, supplier coordination, purchase order administration, and ensuring uninterrupted supply of goods and services supporting hotel operations.The ideal candidate should have previous experience in hotel procurement and a strong understanding of indirect purchasing processes.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement AdministrationManage procurement requests from departments and ensure timely processing.Prepare RFQs and obtain competitive quotations.Evaluate supplier proposals and prepare comparison reports.Generate purchase orders and monitor deliveries.Ensure procurement documentation is maintained accurately.Supplier CoordinationAct as the primary point of contact for approved suppliers.Follow up on deliveries and service completion.Resolve supplier issues and delivery discrepancies.Monitor supplier performance and service quality.Operational ProcurementSupport procurement activities for:Housekeeping suppliesGuest supplies and amenitiesOffice suppliesUniforms and staff requirementsMarketing materialsFacility maintenance requirementsSecurity and cleaning contractsIT equipment and consumablesTransportation and logistics servicesHotel operational support servicesCost ControlObtain competitive pricing and negotiate favorable rates.Support cost-saving initiatives.Monitor spending against approved budgets.Track procurement KPIs and supplier performance.Reporting & ComplianceUpdate procurement trackers and procurement records.Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.Assist during internal and external audits.Generate regular procurement status reports.QualificationsEducationBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or related field.Experience3-5 years of procurement experience.Minimum 2 years within hotel, hospitality, resort, or F&B operations.Experience handling indirect procurement categories.GCC experience is an advantage.Technical SkillsExperience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.Good working knowledge of MS Excel and procurement reporting.Understanding of procurement workflows and supplier evaluation techniques.CompetenciesStrong coordination and organizational skills.Good negotiation abilities.Attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.Team-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills.Preferred Hotel Background for Both RolesCandidates from:4-Star & 5-Star HotelsLuxury ResortsHospitality GroupsHotel ChainsMixed-Use Hospitality DevelopmentsServiced ApartmentsLifestyle & Leisure DestinationsHospitality Asset Owners and Operatorswould be strongly preferred.
