Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are seeking a Procurement Supervisor to lead all purchasing, sourcing, and stores activities for the company, ensuring that materials, tools, equipment, and subcontracted services are obtained on time, at competitive cost, and in full compliance with company policies and approval authorities.The role supervises two Procurement Officers and the Storekeeper and works closely with Operations and Engineering to align supply with project schedules and maintenance demand. Because the company runs fit-out, renovation, and maintenance work simultaneously, the position must balance planned project procurement against urgent maintenance requirements, while maintaining clear separation between ordering, receiving, and payment.Key AccountabilitiesProcurement Management Oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle from requisition and sourcing through purchase order, delivery, and handover to Finance. Review and approve purchase requests within delegated authority; escalate items above threshold to the General Manager. Maintain a qualified vendor list covering construction materials, MEP supplies, finishing materials, tools, and equipment rental. Establish framework agreements for high-frequency maintenance consumables to shorten emergency lead times.Cost Control & Negotiation Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, and delivery commitments with suppliers and subcontractors. Obtain and compare competitive quotations; prepare bid comparison sheets for management approval. Monitor market prices for key materials and advise on bulk purchasing or alternative sourcing. Track procurement spend against project and maintenance budgets and report variances monthly.Stores & Inventory Oversight Supervise the Storekeeper and ensure materials are received, recorded, stored, and issued against approved documentation. Set and review minimum and maximum stock levels for critical maintenance items. Coordinate periodic stock counts with Finance and investigate variances. Ensure that goods receipt is confirmed independently of the officer who raised the purchase order.Team Supervision Supervise, guide, and evaluate the Procurement Officers and Storekeeper. Allocate purchasing responsibilities by category and priority; balance project and maintenance workload. Ensure complete and accurate records for all purchase orders, deliveries, and returns.Coordination Coordinate with the Operations Manager and Site Engineers on material requirements and delivery timelines. Coordinate with the Engineering department on specifications, approved brands, and technical submittals. Coordinate with Finance on supplier invoices, payment processing, and outstanding payables.Compliance & Controls Ensure every purchase is supported by an approved requisition, purchase order, goods receipt, and matching invoice. Enforce policies preventing unauthorised purchases, split orders, and conflicts of interest. Maintain complete, auditable procurement files and support internal and external audits.
