Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Supply Chain Manager with a strong background in the building materials industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and vendor management. The role requires ensuring timely material availability while maintaining cost efficiency and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end supply chain operations for building materials.Develop procurement plans based on project and sales requirements.Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, transporters, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.Ensure seamless material planning and availability by coordinating with procurement, sales, operations, and vendors to meet business requirements without delays. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers.Evaluate supplier performance and build long-term strategic relationships.Plan and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations.Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of materials to customers and project sites.Analyze supply chain costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.Prepare procurement reports, inventory reports, and MIS for management.Resolve supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory regulations.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.MBA or relevant supply chain certifications will be an added advantage.Experience5–10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management.Mandatory experience in the Building Materials, Construction Materials, Steel, Cement, Tiles, Plywood, Hardware, Paints, Sanitaryware, or related industry.Required SkillsStrong knowledge of procurement, inventory planning, logistics, and warehouse operations.Vendor sourcing and contract negotiation expertise.Demand forecasting and inventory optimization.Cost analysis and budgeting.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and supply chain reporting tools.Ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.
