Product & Research Specialist

Location: Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu | Work Mode: Work from OfficeTravel: Willingness to travel for conferences, workshops, client meetings, demos, and training programs.About the RoleWe are looking for a Product & Research Specialist to bridge the gap between researchers, clients, and the product team. The role combines research expertise, academic publishing knowledge, product support, and client engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as an SME for research, academic publishing, and researcher workflows.Conduct R&D for new features and enhancements; prepare user stories, product requirements, workflows, and documentation.Conduct competitor analysis and research emerging AI and research technologies relevant to PaperPerfect.Support product testing and validate features from a researcher/user perspective.Handle research and product-related queries from clients and users.Conduct product demos, onboarding, and hands-on training for researchers, institutions, and other stakeholders.Provide guidance and hand-holding for research and publication-related activities.Gather client/user feedback and translate it into actionable product improvements.Represent the product at research workshops, conferences, and academic events.RequirementsMaster's degree or higher in Science, Technology, Research, or a related field.Strong understanding of research methodology, academic publishing, manuscript preparation, peer review, and journal workflows.Prior experience in academic publishing, research, editorial services, ResearchTech, EdTech, or a related domain is preferred.Strong research, analytical, documentation, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to interact confidently with researchers, faculty, institutions, and clients.Willingness to learn and work with AI-powered research and publishing tools.Willingness to work from the Thanjavur office and travel as required.Added Advantage: PhD / research experience / publications in peer-reviewed journals.Company DescriptioniCodex Publishing Solutions Limited, incorporated in 2018, develops software products for the scholarly and academic publishing industry.
