Job Role:The Industrial Machinery Product Analyst takes ownership of a defined set of industrial machinery brands within the Group’s portfolio — managing day-to-day principal relationships, product positioning and lifecycle actions for those brands — while supporting the Senior Manager on wider portfolio research, brand onboarding and strategic planning.Working closely with the local sales, distribution and aftersales operations team in emerging markets, and increasingly with the Group’s emerging market operations, the incumbent acts as the first point of contact for assigned principals/OEMs, coordinates product launches and lifecycle reviews, and produces market and competitive analysis to support brand and portfolio decisions taken by the senior management.Job Responsibilities:Assigned Brand ManagementManages day to day relationship, positioning and lifecycle actions for a defined set of industrial machinery brandsPrincipal / OEM CoordinationFirst point of contact for assigned principals on specification, allocation, pricing input and launch readiness.Local Operations CoordinationCoordinates with emergingbased sales, distribution and other teams to align product actions with in-market execution and value-added services.Market & Competitive AnalysisProduces market and competitor research/reports for assigned brands and the wider portfolio.Portfolio & Lifecycle SupportProduces market and competitor research/reports for assigned brands and the wider portfolio.Brand / OEM Onboarding & Africa Expansion SupportSupports evaluation of new brands/OEMs, including ongoing opportunities, under Senior Manager direction.Needs AssessmentGathers dealer, contractor and end-customer input to inform the roadmap and portfolio recommendations.Job Requirements:Industrial Machinery Product KnowledgeSolid knowledge of assigned brands’ categories, specifications, competitive positioning and aftersales considerations.Principal / OEM CoordinationManages day-to day contact for assigned principals; escalates strategic/commercial issues appropriately.Market & Competitive ResearchResearches and compiles market, brand and competitor data into clear, decision-useful analysis.Regional Market Awareness (Syria / Africa & Other Emerging Markets)Understands local distribution, aftersales and operating conditions in Syria; builds awareness of emerging markets.Product Lifecycle ManagementManages lifecycle actions for assigned brands and supports tracking across the wider portfolio.Commercial & Financial AcumenReads and interprets pricing, margin and performance data to support reports and business cases.Stakeholder CommunicationCommunicates effectively with principals, local operations teams and internal stakeholders.Qualifications & Experience:EssentialBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or a related field.3-5 years of experience in product/brand management, distribution or commercial roles, ideally in industrial machinery, heavy equipment.Experience managing or coordinating directly with OEM/principal contacts.Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with sales, pricing and performance data.Experience working alongside distribution/aftersales operations teams, ideally in Syria or a comparable market. English mandatory; Arabic preferred.PreferredDirect experience with the Group’s brands (e.g. JCB, Hangcha, NH, Astra, Iveco) or similar industrial machinery/CV OEMs.Exposure to frontier or expansion markets, such as Africa.Experience coordinating aftersales or value-added-services alignment with product decisions.Applicants are requested to share their most recent resume.We thank all applicants for their interest.
