Product Control Lead

Responsibilities• Produce and sign off daily P&L reporting for treasury and trading activities, providing clear attribution and analysis of key drivers. • Perform independent valuation control, reviewing pricing models, market data, curves, and inputs against reliable sources. • Reconcile front-office positions and P&L to the general ledger, investigating and resolving discrepancies. • Review and challenge P&L movements, escalating anomalies and ensuring appropriate controls are maintained. • Maintain and enhance the product control framework, including independent price verification and valuation controls. • Support new product approvals by assessing valuation, booking, and control implications while helping build scalable, AI-enabled product control capabilities.Requirements• 8+ years of experience in Product Control or Valuation Control within banking or financial services, including leadership experience. • Deep expertise in daily P&L production and attribution, valuation controls, and trader-to-ledger reconciliations. • Strong knowledge of treasury, markets products, valuation methodologies, and reporting standards. • Proven experience building and enhancing product control processes and controls within a regulated environment. • Experience with automation, advanced analytics, or AI-enabled product control, valuation control, and reconciliation processes. • Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, or CPA are highly desirable.
