Company Description Babylonia is a controlled-environment agriculture company based in Kozhikode. We build living walls, indoor farming systems, and the software that runs them. Small team, real products.Role Description This is an on-site product design role in Kozhikode, starting with a two-month internship and moving to full-time on satisfactory completion. We are developing a range of connected growing devices: units that automate watering, nutrient dosing, and pH control for indoor and hydroponic systems. The engineering is handled by our hardware team. Your job is the form: how the product looks, how it sits in a room, and how someone interacts with it. You will model it, detail it, and see it built in our workshop downstairs. You will work directly with the founder.What you will work onForm and enclosure design for connected growing devices: controllers, dosing units, reservoirs, and mounts.Design for the spaces these products live in: homes, balconies, offices, and small indoor farms.3D modelling and drawings that a fabricator can work from.Work with the hardware team so the enclosure actually fits the board, pumps, and sensors inside it.Material and finish selection.Build and test physical prototypes in our workshop.QualificationsFinal year or recently graduated in Architecture, Industrial Design, or Product Design. Diploma holders welcome.Comfortable modelling in 3D. Rhino, SketchUp, Fusion 360, or SolidWorks all work.Can produce a clean drawing with dimensions that someone can build from.Some understanding of how things are actually made: sheet metal, moulding, machining, 3D printing.Interested in objects and products, not only buildings.Comfortable using AI tools to work faster.Bring a portfolio.
