Product Development Engineer

We're seeking a Product Development Engineer to lead end-to-end product development activities within a dynamic automotive environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the complete product lifecycle, working closely with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet performance, quality, timing, and cost objectives.Your roleLead end-to-end product development programs from early concept and customer bidding activities through product development, validation, launch, and productionServe as the primary technical interface for customers throughout the product development lifecycleDrive design, product matching, simulation, development, validation, testing, and release activitiesEnsure products meet all performance, quality, durability, reliability, cost, and timing requirementsCoordinate APQP activities and support PPAP submissions, approvals, and engineering changesInvestigate technical and quality-related issues, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologiesDevelop and maintain engineering documentation including 2D drawings, 3D models, specifications, and technical reportsYour profileBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering3 + years of experience in automotive product development, design, validation, testing, and product launchExperience or exposure with engine calibration and engine thermodynamicsExperience or exposure with engine air systemsKnowledge of FMEA methodologies, product development processes, validation planning, and testing at both component and engine levelExperience working directly with customers and leading technical discussions
