Referment is working with one of the more exciting early-stage AI companies in London to add another exceptional engineer to a small, highly ambitious founding team.They’re tackling a genuinely difficult problem: building AI agents that can see, understand and interact with mobile applications like humans do, using multimodal models, computer vision and real physical devices.They’ve already raised $4m+ from leading VCs and operators behind some of the biggest names in AI, and despite being early, their technology is already relied on daily by some seriously impressive technology companies.RoleThis isn’t a role where you’ll own one small part of a mature stack. You’ll be building things that haven’t really been built before, with ownership across:Architecting AI agents using multimodal modelsBuilding ML evals, benchmarks and datasetsTaking ML from experimentation into real production systemsBackend, frontend and cloud infrastructureAutomating and scaling a physical device farmWorking directly with customers to shape what gets built nextThey’re looking for builders rather than passengers.
