Series-funded, growing, and past the point of proving the product works. Now it's about building fast without the wheels coming off.The team is small enough that what you ship this week is in front of users next week. No layers, no committees, no waiting three sprints for a decision.The roleYou'll work across a TypeScript and React frontend and a Node backend, with Python and Go elsewhere in the stack. We're leaning backend for this one, but if your instinct is frontend and you can hold your own on the backend, we want to talk.Product Engineer means what it says. You'll take a problem, figure out what to build, build it, ship it, and watch what happens. You'll have opinions about the product and the room to act on them. If you like the part of the job where you talk to a user, understand the actual problem, and go fix it, this is that job.The bar is high and the feedback is fast. You'll get better here quicker than most places.Why 4 days in the officeBecause speed. The team ships fast, and the fastest way to unblock a decision is to turn around and ask the person next to you. Tight feedback loops, less waiting, more shipping. We're upfront about it so nobody's surprised: this is an in-person team, four days a week in London.What we're looking for5+ years building and shipping software that real people useStrong TypeScript, and comfortable in a Node backendA track record of owning things end to end, not just closing ticketsGood judgment about what to build and what to skipSomeone who talks to users and lets that shape the codeNice to haveSC clearance (or eligible to get it)DevOps experience: CI/CD, infra, keeping the lights onPython or Go in your backgroundNone of these are dealbreakers.
