Product Engineer (Founding Team), RAYY

We are a small, fast-moving teamraising our first institutional round, and we are bringing engineering in-house now.The roleYou will be one of the first two engineers at RAYY, working directly with the CPTO. The productis a Flutter customer app, a FastAPI backend on MongoDB, and Next.js dashboards for partnersand our own team, on AWS. You will work end to end across all of it rather than in one layer.There is a full roadmap of customer-facing features shipping this quarter, a backlog to clear,and releases to take over from our vendor; you will be building from day one and helping sethow we build as the team grows.What you'll doOwn features from API to screen across Flutter, Python and TypeScript. Fix, refactor and extendcode you did not write. Ship to the Play Store and App Store and keep production healthy. UseAI coding tools as a normal part of your work, and review what they produce with the samecare as your own. Write tests where they matter, especially anywhere money moves.What we're looking forThree to five years at a product company, with at least one consumer app shipped to realusers; payments or marketplace experience is a plus. Working ability in at least two of Flutter,Python and TypeScript, and the willingness to work in all three. Familiarity with MongoDB, apayment gateway such as Razorpay, and AWS basics. Comfort with small teams andambiguity: you would rather ship and learn than wait for a spec. Clear communication, sinceyou will talk to partners and the CEO, not only to engineers. Available to start on or around 1October.Nice to haveExperience at a food, fitness or booking marketplace. Prior work taking over a codebase froman agency or vendor.
