Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout The RoleLumenci is looking for a curious and hands-on Product Intern to support our team working on iLumos, our agentic AI platform, and other internal B2B products focused on patent analysis and legal workflows.The role is suited for someone who has built AI/LLM-based projects as side projects and enjoys experimenting with AI technologies and solving practical problems. The intern will work closely with the Product, AI Engineering, and domain teams to support product experimentation, testing, documentation, and day-to-day product execution.This is a 2-month internship offering practical exposure to how AI-powered products are developed and improved in a fast-paced startup environment.Responsibilities and DutiesAI Product ExperimentationExperiment with LLMs, prompts, and AI tools to support product workflows. Build and test small prototypes or proof-of-concepts using AI/LLM technologies. Explore agentic workflows, RAG, and other relevant AI concepts through hands-on experimentation. Test different approaches and document findings, limitations, and potential improvements. Product Support & ExecutionSupport the Product team in documenting requirements, user stories, workflows, and feature specifications. Assist in maintaining product documentation and workflow diagrams. Participate in relevant product and engineering discussions and help track action items and dependencies. Support coordination between Product, Engineering, and domain teams on assigned tasks. Testing & QualityTest AI-powered features and workflows against defined requirements and expected outcomes. Identify bugs, edge cases, inconsistencies, and usability issues. Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, relevance, consistency, and overall quality. Clearly document issues and observations for the relevant teams to address. Research & InsightsResearch AI tools, technologies, and approaches relevant to ongoing product initiatives. Support analysis of user feedback and product observations. Identify patterns, gaps, or opportunities that may help improve existing workflows. Maintain clear documentation of research, experiments, and findings. What We're Looking ForStudents or recent graduates with a strong interest in AI and technology-driven products. Hands-on experience building AI/LLM-based side projects, prototypes, or applications. Basic understanding of LLMs, prompting, RAG, or AI agents. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Curiosity and willingness to experiment with new tools and technologies. Ability to break down problems and communicate findings clearly. Good written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working with technical and non-technical teams. Proactive and detail-oriented approach to assigned work. Available for a 2-month internship. Good to HaveExperience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Lovable, Replit, or similar platforms. Familiarity with APIs, databases, vector search, or automation workflows. Experience testing or evaluating AI-generated outputs. Basic exposure to Agile/Scrum or software development workflows. Interest in legal technology, intellectual property, or B2B products.
