The role bridges business strategy, customer needs, technology capabilities, and operational delivery to ensure Automation & AI investments deliver measurable business value.Working across GIS and business stakeholders, the Product Manager develops the product vision, manages the roadmap, prioritises demand, drives adoption, and ensures that solutions are secure, scalable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise objectives.The role partners closely with Architecture, Engineering, Operations, Security, Compliance, Design, and Business teams to transform opportunities into high-value Automation & AI products and services.What you’ll doProduct Strategy & Vision (25%)Define and maintain the strategic vision for the Automation & AI portfolio.Identify market trends, emerging technologies, and internal business opportunities.Build and communicate a multi-year product roadmap.Align Automation & AI initiatives with GIS and corporate strategy.Develop business cases and value propositions for new products and capabilities.Demand Management & Prioritisation (20%)Establish and operate a structured intake and prioritisation process.Evaluate opportunities based on business value, risk, complexity, and strategic alignment.Maintain a prioritised product backlog and roadmap.Balance short-term business needs with long-term platform objectives.Lead portfolio review and investment discussions.Business Value & Adoption (15%)Define KPIs, success measures, and value-realisation frameworks.Monitor adoption, utilisation, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes.Develop strategies to increase adoption and maximise return on investment.Drive continuous improvement based on user feedback and operational insights.Stakeholder Engagement (15%)Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams.Engage with senior leaders to understand strategic priorities and challenges.Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and roadmap reviews.Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress effectively.Product Delivery & Governance (15%)Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Scrum teams to deliver capabilities.Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, risk, and data governance requirements.Support release planning and operational readiness activities.Drive governance processes across AI lifecycle management.Innovation & Emerging Technology (10%)Assess emerging AI, GenAI, automation, and agentic technologies.Identify innovation opportunities and pilot initiatives.Evaluate vendor offerings and platform capabilities.Promote a culture of experimentation and continuous learning.Key AccountabilitiesThe Product Manager will be accountable for:Product vision and strategy.Automation & AI roadmap ownership.Product portfolio value realisation.Business stakeholder satisfaction.Adoption and usage growth.Governance and compliance alignment.Demand management and prioritisation.Investment planning and benefits tracking.Product lifecycle management.What you’ll needProduct Management5+ years in Product Management, Product Ownership, Portfolio Management, or Digital Transformation roles.Experience managing enterprise technology products and services.Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and product operating models.Automation & AIExperience in one or more of:Generative AI and Copilot technologies.AI agents and orchestration platforms.Workflow automation platforms.Process automation and intelligent automation.Conversational AI and virtual assistants.Machine Learning or AI-enabled business services.TechnologyStrong understanding of:Microsoft AI ecosystem.Copilot Studio.Azure AI Services.Power Platform.ServiceNow integration patterns.APIs and integration architectures.Cloud-native platforms.Business SkillsStrategic thinking.Stakeholder management.Executive communication.Financial and commercial awareness.Business case development.Benefits tracking and reporting.Preferred QualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.Product Management certification.Agile Product Owner certification.Microsoft AI, Azure, or Power Platform certifications.Experience delivering AI initiatives at enterprise scale.Success MeasuresFirst 12 MonthsEstablished Automation & AI product strategy and roadmap.Defined portfolio KPIs and governance processes.Increased adoption of Automation & AI services.Delivered measurable productivity and business benefits.Improved customer and employee experience through AI-enabled capabilities.Successfully launched new products, services, or AI agents.Created a transparent demand management and prioritisation framework.
