THE COMPANYMeridian is an AI operating partner for service businesses. We embed within our clients’ operations and deploy AI that runs core business workflows end-to-end: admissions, lead qualification, candidate screening, and client engagement. We connect their systems, we work with their data, and we build AI experiences tailored to how their business actually operates. This is a fundamentally different model from selling software or building tools. Our clients do not buy a product and figure out how to use it. We sit inside their operations, identify where AI creates the most leverage, and iterate on performance every week based on live data. We are measured on their outcomes: conversion rates, response times, cost per acquisition, placement speed. Our engineers design systems and direct AI to produce production software. We ship to production every week. We operate across the UAE, KSA, and Brazil with live enterprise clients in education, healthcare staffing, and professional services, and solutions that are already delivering measurable ROI.We are a seven-person team. We are growing fast and hiring the people who will define the next phase.HOW WE WORKWhat follows are the operating conditions of this team. Read them carefully. If they do not describe the environment where you do your best work, this is not the right place for you.Customer problems first, technology second. We succeed because we sit inside our clients’ operations and translate their real problems into AI experiences that produce measurable results. Every product decision starts with a customer problem that we can name, quantify, and solve. If you cannot trace a feature back to a specific client outcome, it does not get built.Ship every week or fall behind. We move experiments and new features to production every week. We maintain an intelligence layer across our systems that accelerates our development lifecycle and keeps the entire team aligned on what is live, what is next, and what is blocked. If a week passes without a production release, something is wrong, and we fix it immediately.Meticulous organization is a weapon. We are obsessive about how we organize work. Every ticket has clear requirements, edge cases, and acceptance criteria. Every integration has documented dependencies. Every client deployment has a defined SOP. This discipline is what allows a small team to operate at the output level of a team five times its size.Candor over comfort. We tell clients what they need to hear. We do the same with each other. If something is not working, we say it directly, with respect, and we fix it. We do not protect people from honest feedback, and we do not expect to be protected from it. Consensus is not the goal. The right answer is the goal.Small team, no passengers. Every person on this team carries real weight. There is no layer of middle management to hide behind. You own your work end to end, you ask for help when you need it, and you deliver. If you want structure handed to you, this is not the right environment. If you want to build the structure, keep reading.Day 1, always. We have paying clients and real traction. None of that entitles us to anything. The market does not care what we built last quarter. Our competitors are funded, fast, and coming. The only advantage we have is that we are closer to our clients’ operations, we move faster, and we refuse to treat anything as settled. It is still Day 1. It will always be Day 1.WHAT YOU WILL OWN01. Delivery management and sprint cadence. You run the weekly cycle in Linear: backlog grooming, sprint planning, standups, retrospectives. You are accountable for on-time, on quality delivery across all active client deployments. When something is blocked, you unblock it. When priorities shift, you reorganize the plan and communicate the change.02. Client requirement translation. You sit in client calls, extract actionable signals from operational noise, and turn those signals into clearly spec’d Linear tickets with requirements, edge cases, and acceptance criteria defined. You negotiate scope with engineering to find the fastest path to a working solution that meets the client need.03. Roadmap prioritization. You work with the founders and the engineering team to decide what gets built next. You bring the client perspective, the delivery constraints, and the data to inform those decisions. Product vision is collaborative here. Your job is to organize that vision into a prioritized, executable plan.04. Design direction and UI/UX quality. You set the design standard for every client-facing surface. You define how dashboards, chat interfaces, and operational views should look and feel. You create the wireframes, reference designs, and component guidelines that the engineering team builds against. Our engineers generate front-end code through agentic workflows. Your job is to make sure what they produce is clean, usable, and visually sharp.05. Quality assurance gating. You define acceptance criteria and review outputs against them before anything ships to production. You enforce a standard that eliminates regressions and half-finished releases. You work closely with the QA/Infrastructure Engineer to maintain the quality bar as we scale the client base.06. Visibility and reporting. You maintain a live view of what is in progress, what is blocked, and what is shipping. The CEO and Chief of Staff should be able to check status without asking you.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 01. Design sensibility. You have a strong eye for UI/UX, and you care deeply about how things look and feel. You can take a client requirement and sketch a wireframe, define a component layout, or produce a reference design that an engineer can build against. You do not need to be a graphic designer, but you need to set a visual standard and hold the team to it. Experience with Figma or similar design tools is expected.02. Execution discipline. At least 4 to 6 years managing product delivery in a startup or high-growth environment. You know Linear, and you know the mechanics of shipping software on a weekly cadence. You have managed engineering teams of 3 to 10 people, and you have a track record of delivering on time without sacrificing quality.03. Technical fluency. You need to read a pull request, understand an API schema, and hold your own in a conversation about system architecture with the engineering team. You should be comfortable enough with AI and code to prototype small experiments or validate a feature in a staging environment. Experience with AI/ML product development is strongly preferred.04. Client-facing comfort. You will join client calls and occasionally lead them. You can communicate with enterprise stakeholders in education, healthcare, or professional services. You know how to extract the real requirement from what a client asks for and negotiate scope without damaging the relationship.05. Data orientation. You are comfortable pulling funnel data, reading dashboards, and using quantitative evidence to prioritize. Familiarity with CRM analytics, conversion metrics, and lead scoring is a strong plus.06. Languages. Fluent in English. Portuguese and/or Arabic is a significant advantage.HOW TO APPLYSend a short note and your CV/portfolio/website to jose@meridianventures.xyzTell us one thing you have built that you are proud of and why Meridian is interesting to you. We value directness over polish. Our process: an initial conversation with the CEO or Chief of Staff, a short practical exercise relevant to the role, and a final conversation with the team. Start to offer in under two weeks for the right candidate.
