About NotewiseNotewise is a note-taking and personal knowledge app used by millions of people worldwide. We began by building a powerful digital handwriting experience for mobile and tablet. Today, Notewise helps people capture ideas, work with documents, think visually, and use AI to better understand their notes and knowledge.Notewise has been recognized as a Google Play Best of 2024 winner and an Apple Design Award nominee. We are now entering an important new chapter as we rethink what note-taking can become in the age of AI.About the RoleThis isn’t a “backlog management” role. As a Product Manager at Notewise, you will work directly with the founders, engineering, and design teams to shape the next generation of Notewise. We are evolving beyond traditional note-taking — bringing handwriting, documents, audio, knowledge, and AI together into a more intelligent workspace. You will identify important user problems, define what we should build, and turn ambitious ideas into polished experiences used by millions of people. If you care deeply about product quality, love experimenting with new AI capabilities, and constantly think about how the tools you use could be better, this role is for you.You will work directly with the founders, engineering, and design teams to identify the "big thing" and ensure we ship features that don’t just function, but delight. If you are a product-obsessed thinker who loves diving into user data as much as sketching a new UX flow, this is for you. What You’ll DoProduct Strategy & Discovery: Identify important user problems and opportunities, and define the “what” and “why” behind what we build.AI-Native Experiences: Explore how AI can meaningfully work with users’ notes, handwriting, documents, audio, and context — beyond standalone AI features.Product Development: Take ideas from early exploration through user flows, product specs, implementation, launch, and iteration.Product Experience: Work closely with engineers and designers on interactions, edge cases, and details to ensure features don’t just work, but feel great.User Understanding: Combine user research, feedback, behavioural data, and competitive research to uncover pain points and opportunities.Growth & Optimization: Use data and experimentation to improve onboarding, engagement, retention, monetisation, and feature adoption.Who You AreStrong Product Sense: You notice product and interaction details others overlook and can explain why certain experiences work better than others.First-Principles Thinker: You focus on the underlying user problem rather than simply executing feature requests or copying competitors.AI Curious: You actively explore new AI products and technologies, while caring about whether they genuinely improve the user experience.Productivity Nerd: You have a genuine interest in note-taking, learning, productivity, knowledge management, or creative tools.Data-Informed, Intuition-Led: You use data to validate decisions but are comfortable making product bets when the numbers don’t tell the whole story.Technically Fluent: You can work effectively with engineers and understand technical trade-offs around APIs, latency, cloud systems, and AI.Owner Mentality: You thrive in ambiguity, take initiative, and drive problems through to completion.Job Requirements:Experience in Product Management, preferably in consumer-facing mobile apps or SaaS products.Proven track record of shipping high-quality products from 0 to 1 or scaling products to millions of users.Strong analytical skills (experience with tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or SQL is a plus).Experience working in an agile environment and a deep understanding of the mobile app ecosystem (iOS & Android).Education:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Required)Experience:3+ years in Product Management (Preferred)Nice-to-Haves:Experience with AI/LLM-integrated products. Background in UI/UX design or software engineering.Experience with productivity, education, note-taking, or creative software.Experience scaling products to a large consumer user base.
