With a strong engineering culture and significant investment in product and data, the company is entering its next phase of growth: scaling its data platform to power smarter decisions, AI-driven features, and a significantly better customer experience. The team is ambitious, pragmatic, and values people who thrive in environments where the roadmap is still being shaped. The roleWe are looking for an experienced and driven Product Manager to own the Data Platform the foundational layer that powers analytics, AI features, data integrations, and internal data products across the business. This is a high-impact, hands-on role at the intersection of product, data engineering, and AI. You will define and execute the vision for how data flows, how it is governed, and how it creates value both internally and for customers. You will work closely with engineering and data teams, and report directly into senior leadership. This is not a role for someone looking for a fully defined playbook. You will help build the playbook. If you have a strong opinion about where AI is going, you've already shipped something with it, and you want to shape a data platform from the ground up in a company that is genuinely invested in getting this right this could be the right next step.Tasks & responsibilitiesDefine and own the multi-year vision and roadmap for the data platform, covering data infrastructure, pipelines, governance, AI/ML enablement, and customer-facing data products;Translate a genuine, hands-on understanding of AI and ML into concrete product decisions identifying where AI creates real value, prioritising experiments, and shepherding AI features from prototype to production;Translate business goals and technical constraints into a well-prioritised, clearly articulated backlog; define user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics that the engineering team can execute against with confidence;Stakeholder Management; working across engineering, data, commercial, and executive teams to align on priorities, communicate progress, and build shared understanding of data platform capabilities and limitations;Define standards for data quality, access control, and documentation, making the platform trustworthy and self-service for internal and external users;Identify opportunities to expose platform capabilities as customer-facing features (e.g. dashboards, reporting, data exports, AI-driven insights) that drive adoption and ARR;Stay ahead of developments in the modern data stack, AI tooling, and competitive landscape; bring informed, opinionated perspectives on where to invest;Agile Execution, maintaining clarity and momentum while operating in an environment where priorities and structures continue to evolve.Your profileAt least five years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner within a SaaS environment, with a demonstrated track record of owning complex technical products end-to-end;Engineering Foundation, a background as a software developer, ideally with backend experience, gives you the ability to have genuine technical conversations, challenge assumptions, and make grounded product trade-offs. You understand APIs, data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and the realities of building for scale; You have worked closely with or owned a data platform, data warehouse, or similar infrastructure product. You understand the modern data stack (dbt, Airflow, Snowflake/BigQuery, Kafka or similar) and can speak credibly about data modelling, ingestion patterns, and data quality; You have a strong, informed vision for AI in the product context — and crucially, you have experimented with it yourself. Whether that's building with LLM APIs, prototyping RAG pipelines, or shipping ML-powered features, you bring practitioner knowledge, not just strategic framing; You thrive in organisations where not everything is defined yet. You are energised, not unsettled, by the opportunity to shape structures, processes, and the roadmap itself. Experience in PE-backed or fast-consolidating companies is a plus; You set clear metrics, track outcomes, and use data to make decisions. You are as comfortable writing a SQL query to validate an assumption as you are presenting findings to leadership; You can explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, and translate business needs into precise requirements for engineering teams;Pragmatic & Hands-On. You get into the detail when it matters. You are comfortable writing specs, reviewing technical architecture, and being present in the day-to-day of the engineering team not just setting direction from a distance;Based within the Netherlands. This is a hybrid role with regular in-person collaboration. Visa sponsorship is not an option at the moment.
