Role: Product Manager – Digital Twins for Data Center

Location: Bangalore / ChennaiExperience Required: 12-19 YearsAbout the RoleThis is a strategic product leadership role focused on building and scaling HCLTech’s Data Center Digital Twin and Intelligent Infrastructure solutions portfolio.

The role sits at the intersection of infrastructure engineering, AI-led digital platforms, enterprise software, and industry go-to-market strategyOwn the complete Digital twin solution lifecycle – identifying the market opportunities, defining the value proposition, solutioning with customers & partners and measuring the real-world business outcomesYou are the feature owner, voice of the proposition with the customer, partners & analystsYou will lead discovery workshops, executive business reviews and solution design sessions with customers and translating their needs into differentiated solutioningYou will work horizontally across engineering, sales, pre-sales, delivery and marketing to ensure that the value propositions are positioned correctly, priced to win, and delivered in a way that creates measurable and repeatable customer value.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive the vision, roadmap creation of value proposition for AI-led digital twins for large Data Centers / AI Factories. Develop differentiated offerings leveraging AI, Digital Twins, IoT, analytics, and automation platforms. Translate customer and market requirements into scalable solution frameworks, accelerators, and reusable offerings.Define innovative offerings by working closely with product, delivery & GTM team and leveraging AI & Agentic AI, industry leading DC digital twin platforms and the systems provided by various OEMs providing critical equipment for Data centers (Infra, Power, Cooling, Facility operations etc.).

Key Responsibilities

Value proposition: Own and continuously refine the value proposition for digital twins in data center. Map product capabilities to specific customer pain points and quantify the business case & ROI frameworkSolution design: Lead end-to-end solutioning with customers and partners. Define the integration architectures with customer systems to the digital twin platformPre-sales & deal support: Engage directly in strategic deals – lead solution demonstration, respond to RFPs/RFIs, present to customers and develop solution proposalsCustomer co-creation: Run structured discovery workshops, and co-innovation programs with key customersPartner & ecosystem solutioning: Define and manage solution partner relationships and GTM playbooks with strategic partnersCompetitive & market intelligence: Track competitor positioning, analyst coverage and adjacent technology trends. Translate market signals into positioning and roadmap inputThought leadership: Represent HCLTech in industry forums, analyst interactions, partner ecosystems, and strategic customer engagements.Required Qualifications & Expertise12-19 years of relevant experience, with at least 10 years in data center operations, infrastructure engineering or DCIM/BMS/Digital Twin product management in a large enterprise or hyperscale environmentExperience in one or more of the following domains:Direct and hands-on experience across the phases of data center – Design & Build, Planning, Operations and OptimizationDeep understanding on the design tools (like BIM/Revit), Simulation (CFD/Airflow), Virtual commissioning, Capacity planning, Hot/Cold aisle management, Power stranding & scheduled maintenance cyclesDeep working knowledge of DCIM platforms (Sunbird DCIM, Nlyte, Schneider Ecostruxure IT etc.), familiarity with BMS systems (JCI, Siemens), understanding of EPMS (Schneider Ecostruxure Power, ABB Ability, Eaton Power Xpert)Understanding of cabling and network topologyStrong understanding of data and analytics fundamentals, IoT data pipeline, OT control systems, sensors integration, messaging protocols and how AI is applied to the infrastructure operations (AI Ops, Predictive maintenance)Driven Sustainability and energy optimization initiativesExperience in leading executive-level customer conversations in a data center / critical infrastructure context.Industry certifications: CDCP / CDCS / CDCMP, RCDD, or equivalent. PMP or SAFe/Agile product certifications are plusPreferred QualificationsExperience in hyperscaler (AWS, Microsoft, GCP, Meta), large colocation (Equinix, Digital Realty), DC OEMs & platforms (Schneider Electric, Eaton, Vertiv, Carrier, JCI, Bentley) or enterprise multi-site DC environmentExposure to high-fidelity virtual twin with NVIDIA Omniverse, simulation tools (Cadence, Ansys), and IOT platforms (AWS, Azure)Knowledge of OT cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443, NIST CSF)Experience with sustainability and decarbonization roadmaps, carbon reporting (GHG protocol)Global exposure and experience working with cross-functional teams across geographies.Success Metrics for the RoleCreation of differentiated HCLTech value proposition for digital twins in data centerPipeline creation and strategic deal influenceCustomer adoption and ecosystem partnershipsGTM readiness and solution commercializationIndustry visibility and innovation leadershipMeasurable business growth in the data center solutions segment
