Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are looking for a Product Manager — Payments Experience (CNP) to join Clip and lead the strategy and execution of our online (Card Not Present) payment experiences. You will be responsible for building a high-conversion, reliable, and secure CNP ecosystem that enables merchants to accept payments seamlessly across different online channels.This role requires close collaboration with engineering, risk/fraud, compliance, data, operations, and commercial teams to deliver scalable payment solutions, improve checkout conversion and authorization success, reduce friction across onboarding and payment flows, and ensure best-in-class reliability for merchants of all sizes—from longtail to mid-market and enterprise.Education Level & Work ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.4+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in fintech, payment processing, e-commerce, or SaaS platforms.Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners (PSPs, gateways, platform partners, or integration partners).Experience with conversion optimization, funnel analytics, or risk-aware product design is strongly preferred.Experience in e-commerce, subscriptions, marketplaces, or digital goods is a plus.Key Responsibilities Lead the product roadmap for the CNP payments ecosystem, aligning business priorities, merchant needs, compliance requirements, and risk controls to drive sustainable growth.Own and evolve end-to-end CNP payment experiences across web and app-based journeys (e.g., payment links, hosted checkout, API-based integrations, plugins/partners), ensuring a seamless buyer and merchant experience.Drive conversion and reliability improvements across the CNP funnel, including:payment initiation → authorization → confirmationerror reduction, drop-off reduction, latency optimization, and recovery behaviorPartner closely with Risk/Fraud and Compliance to balance conversion with protection, ensuring fraud and dispute controls are effective without unnecessary friction.Oversee key online payment capabilities and special flows such as:authentication flows (e.g., step-up / challenge flows when applicable)saved payment methods / tokenization conceptssubscriptions and recurring payments conceptspartial captures, refunds, voids/cancellations, and reconciliation-related user experienceWork with engineering teams to ensure platform scalability and stability, including clear SLAs/SLOs, monitoring, incident response playbooks, and durable fixes for systemic issues.Define, monitor, and communicate core product KPIs, including: authorization rate, payment success rate, checkout conversion, latency (p95), error rates, fraud/loss metrics, chargeback rate, retention, and NPS.Gather insights through merchant feedback and data analysis (interviews, funnel diagnostics, cohort performance, support/contact drivers) to shape priorities and validate impact.Drive operational efficiency and cross-team alignment by improving processes and clarity across Product, Engineering, Ops, Support, and Commercial stakeholders.Support go-to-market, launches, and enablement for CNP solutions, ensuring clear documentation, internal training, and merchant-facing communications for every release.Technical knowledge Solid understanding of product lifecycle management and agile methodologies.Strong understanding of online payments fundamentals (CNP authorization concepts, checkout flows, refunds/voids, and payment state handling).Experience with APIs, webhooks, SDKs, and systems integration patterns.Familiarity with conversion funnels, experimentation, and measurement (A/B testing concepts are a plus).Comfort with data tools and KPI analysis (SQL and dashboarding experience preferred).Ability to translate complex technical problems into actionable product requirements and clear user stories.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (written and verbal).Experience working with risk-aware product tradeoffs (fraud, disputes, compliance) is a strong advantage.
