Through its EzyAgric platform, the company connects farmers with agribusinesses to improve access to information, services, and markets. EzyAgric works with a network of community-based agricultural service providers, known as village agents, to reach farmers at the grassroots level. The organization focuses on making agriculture more efficient, transparent, and profitable for all stakeholders across the value chain.Role Description The Product Marketing Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Uganda. This role is responsible for planning and executing product marketing strategies for EzyAgric’s digital solutions, including market research, competitor analysis, and defining product positioning. Day-to-day tasks include developing go-to-market plans, creating marketing collateral, coordinating campaigns, and working closely with product management, sales, and DACs to drive product adoption. The role involves tracking performance metrics, presenting insights to leadership, and ensuring that messaging clearly communicates value to farmers and agribusinesses. The Product Marketing Officer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product offerings and support field activities that promote EzyAgric’s services.QualificationsStrong analytical skills to interpret market data, user insights, and product performance metrics.Excellent communication skills for crafting clear product messaging and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.Foundational knowledge of finance to understand pricing, unit economics, and basic budgeting for marketing initiatives.Experience with product management to support feature definition, value propositions, and product lifecycle activities.Project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor product marketing campaigns and cross-functional initiatives.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Agriculture, Communications, or a related field.Experience in agtech, agriculture, or technology products is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Uganda and engage with field teams, farmers, and agribusiness partners.Proficiency with digital marketing tools, data reporting, and presentation software is beneficial.
