You will ensure our multi-tenant media platform meets strict requirements across complex advertising and subscription workflows, capturing specifications and maintaining the flow of well-defined work within our rapid Scrum cycles, ensuring quality never slips despite our high-velocity AI development approach.The role is expected to evolve from analysis towards ownership as the product moves from concept to production and the team grows. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record working on data-intensive global systems, we want you as part of our team.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the product backlog for platform and consumer-facing applications, aligned to the direction set by the product directorCollaborate with design and development to break down problems and ensure the flow of clearly defined, context-rich work is maintainedContribute to product discovery, hypothesis testing, and data-driven prioritisation to ensure we are solving the right problemsElicit, capture, and document detailed technical and business requirements through workshops, interviews, and document analysis, translating outcomes into high-quality artefacts (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria) for the engineering teamCollaborate with engineers and QA to refine stories and plan sprints; own the flow and organisation of work in Jira, ensuring all items carry sufficient context and a clear definition of doneValidate that all MarTech and AdTech integrations (ads, subscriptions, data tracking) function accuratelyRequired Skills and Qualifications4+ years in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or equivalent role, ideally within a fast-paced startup or scale-up environmentStrong understanding of product development processes, with a clear grasp of how to move from a user need to a defined feature that solves itExpert at breaking down, crafting, and communicating clear requirements and writing technical specificationsStrong technical knowledge of application development in an AI-assisted environmentMastery of Jira and Confluence for task tracking, reporting, and knowledge managementDeep understanding of MarTech and AdTech workflows, terminology, and metricsStrong familiarity with agile Scrum methodologiesPreferred ExperienceFamiliarity with the unique workflows of AI-augmented (agentic) development teamsPrevious experience in an early-stage startup or founding teamBonus Points If You Have...While not strictly required, exposure to the following will make you a standout candidate:Deep understanding of the media and/or news technology ecosystemsExperience in AdTech (advertising networks, programmatic bidding, ad serving)A consulting or startup/scale-up background, bringing a strategic, client-centric, and solution-oriented mindset to technical problem-solvingWhy Join Us?The chance to build a ground-breaking AI platform from day oneCompetitive equity options packageFlexible working environment
