Location: Pittsburgh, PA / NY, NY Experience: 10+ YearsJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Product Owner with strong Capital Markets domain expertise to drive product vision, business analysis, and delivery of enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, operations, and technology teams to define requirements, manage product backlogs, and deliver solutions across trading, settlements, securities processing, custody, reference data, and regulatory reporting functions. Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Act as Product Owner, managing and prioritizing the product backlog based on business value and strategic objectives.Collaborate with business, operations, compliance, and technology teams to define target-state solutions.Lead workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirement elicitation sessions.Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.Drive UAT planning, execution support, and business sign-off activities.Ensure traceability of requirements from inception through implementation.Required SkillsStrong experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner in Capital Markets.Deep understanding of one or more areas: Trade Lifecycle, Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Securities Operations, Settlements, Custody, Asset Servicing, Reference Data, or Regulatory Reporting.Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, user story creation, backlog management, and stakeholder management.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, SQL, and data analysis techniques.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with global financial institutions.CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, CFA, FRM, or related certifications.Exposure to digital transformation, data platforms, and regulatory initiatives in Capital Markets.
