Product Regulatory Specialist

With a strong focus on customer success, we combine deep technical expertise with service and support to deliver consistent quality and productivity for printers, converters, and trade shops.Mission of the role & responsibilitiesIn your role as Product Regulatory Specialist, you will support the Product Regulatory Department with ensuring product compliance with all product regulations applicable in the countries XSYS products are sold into. This role will have a keen eye for detail and forecasting potential impacts of changes around the world as they relate to the work of XSYS. Your critical work will focus on the impacts of regulatory changes specific to the US, but may at times require a broader scope.

Key Responsibilities

Collect and document regulatory information from the supply chainEvaluate product data and information on product related legislation (with a focus on, but not limited to US regulations)Create and share impact assessments for XSYS products with relevant partiesDerive and implement suitable measures internally and towards customers and authoritiesCreate safety data sheets for chemical productsRespond to product-regulatory related customer inquiriesFurther develop and adapt existing processes and/or create new processes and procedures as required to ensure product complianceSupport the R&D teams in the product development process with regard to product regulatory aspectsMonitor the development of substance classifications and regulatory developments in relation to existing chemical inventories such as TSCA and REACH as well as new inventories and legislationRegister and/or notify of chemical substances and products in accordance with the respective chemical legislationAssess raw materials and issue approval in the qualification process of raw materials within the companySupport the company’s sustainability programs and initiativesOther duties as assignedRequired qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or related field5+ Years professional experience in a product regulation and/or product safety roleDigital affine with sound knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, EH&S software tools and/or other relevant software tools for product safetyTechnical knowledge of printing plates preferredOpen-minded with ability to troubleshoot and think through complex problemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong interpersonal & communication skills with ability to form trust among parties with which you communicatePassion for technology & a desire to learn new thingsStrong commitment to service and to tackling issues hands-onMotivated to work with high level of accuracy and reliabilityEnglish Fluency Required – additional languages are helpful, but not requiredAbility and willingness to travel occasionally – within the US and overseas.Benefits401(k) with 401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insurance & Life insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insuranceWork Location: On Site - Morristown, TN - 37814Base Pay: From $90,000/year
