Our technology combines hardware, firmware, data, and agronomic insight to deliver reliable and actionable information.As we grow, we are looking for a technically strong engineer who can investigate product-related issues, improve product reliability, and work closely with engineering and R&D teams to resolve complextechnical problems.About the roleAgurotech is looking for a technically strong and analytical Product Reliability and R&D Engineer to take ownership of complex product issues related to our sensors, embedded systems, firmware, hardware, connectivity, and device performance.In this role, your primary focus is to investigate technical issues in a structured way, identify root causes, validate fixes, and drive resolution together with internal teams. This is an engineering-focused role for someone with a strong background in electronics and embedded systems, and hands-on experience with troubleshooting, testing, validation, and lifecycle management in hardware-based products.You will play a key role in understanding failures from the field, investigating returned sensors, feeding technical learnings back into product development and helping define the R&D Roadmap.Key responsibilitiesTake ownership of escalated technical and product-related issues from investigation to resolutionDiagnose issues related to electronics, embedded systems, firmware, hardware, connectivity, battery performance, and sensor behaviorInvestigate returned sensors from the field and document findings, likely causes, and recommended actionsPerform structured root cause analysis, failure investigation, and technical validationReproduce failures through lab checks, test setups, field information, and data analysisWork closely with firmware, hardware, R&D, operations, and support teams to resolve issuesDocument findings, solutions, recurring patterns, and technical recommendationsContribute to product reliability improvements and continuous improvement of issue-handling processesSupport feedback loops between customer issues, field performance, engineering insights, and product developmentOccasionally support field checks, product tests, validation activities, or R&D test setups when neededWho you areYou have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Embedded SystemsYou have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems, electronics, technical investigation, product validation, test engineering, or a similar product-focused technical environmentYou have strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills in electronics and embedded productsYou are comfortable working with hardware, firmware, sensors, connectivity, test setups, and technical dataYou are able to independently investigate complex technical issues in a structured and analytical wayYou can contribute to technical investigation, product validation, and continuous product improvementYou are hands-on and willing to test, measure, inspect, reproduce, document, and follow upYou are comfortable working across functions, including engineering, product, operations, and supportYou take ownership and communicate clearly with internal stakeholdersExperience with sensors, IoT devices, connected products, battery-powered systems, or field-deployed hardware is a strong plusYou are fluent in EnglishWhy this role mattersYou will play a key role in connecting escalated product issues, engineering insight, and technical improvement.
