We're looking for an experienced System Analyst to help design and deliver scalable software solutions in a complex environment. You will work at the intersection of Product, Engineering, QA, and external partners, translating business needs into clear requirements and ensuring successful delivery of new features.The role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand complex systems and integrations. Experience in the travel industry or airline distribution is a big plus.ResponsibilitiesTranslate complex business needs into clear functional and system requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and integration specifications. Work closely with Product, Engineering, and QA to design solutions, clarify system behavior, identify edge cases and risks, and ensure correct implementation. Analyze system integrations and production issues, including root cause analysis, data flows, APIs, and dependencies with external partners.Work closely with developers and QA throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure requirements are well understood and implemented correctly.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on system integrations and data flows.Support backlog refinement, effort estimation, release planning, and risk identification.Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, and quality standards.Contribute to improving analysis practices, documentation standards, and product development processes.Required experience3+ years of experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or a similar role in software development.Experience or can learn quickly the travel technology knowledge, such as OTAs, airlines, GDSs, reservation systems, travel management, or travel platforms. Strong system and business analysis skills, with the ability to understand complex processes and convert them into precise, development-ready requirements. Good technical understanding of APIs, integrations, JSON, system architecture, and data flows, with the ability to communicate effectively with developers and QA. Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to investigate complex issues, challenge assumptions, identify risks, and coordinate across Product, Engineering, QA, and external partners.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). English proficiency (B2+) to work in an international environment.Nice to haveKnowledge of airline distribution, GDSs (Amadeus, Sabre), or NDC. Experience with SQL and API testing tools such as Postman. Familiarity with UML, BPMN, or sequence diagrams.
