Production & Maintenance Manager

Production ManagementPlan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets.Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.Monitor production efficiency and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.Coordinate with Planning, Sales, Warehouse, Procurement, and Quality Control to meet customer delivery requirements.Ensure products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.Improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce operational costs.Maintenance ManagementDevelop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.Ensure all production equipment is maintained in excellent working condition.Lead troubleshooting and repair of production machinery to minimize breakdowns.Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of critical maintenance items.Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement long-term corrective solutions.Health, Safety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with HSE policies and applicable regulations.Promote a safe working environment and conduct regular safety inspections.Ensure proper maintenance documentation and equipment records are maintained.Team LeadershipLead, coach, and develop production and maintenance teams.Conduct performance evaluations and identify training requirements.Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.ReportingPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and maintenance reports.Monitor KPIs including production output, equipment availability, downtime, maintenance costs, and efficiency.Recommend capital improvements and equipment upgrades to management.QualificationsEducationBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.Experience5–10 years of relevant experience in production and maintenance management within a concrete products manufacturing environment.Mandatory hands-on experience operating and maintaining:Massa Block & Interlock Plant XL 9.1Massa Block Plant 9000BHess Block & Interlock PlantProven experience managing both production operations and maintenance teams.Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, PLC-controlled equipment, and industrial automation.Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives is an advantage.Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and people management skills.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Production planning and scheduling.Preventive and predictive maintenance management.Quality control and process optimization.Cost control and budget management.Excellent communication and reporting skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.Preferred Industry ExperienceConcrete products manufacturing.Concrete blocks, interlocks, kerbstones, paving products, and related precast concrete operations.
