Head of Event Video Operations – Sports Tech (Early-Stage Start‑up)We’re working with a VC‑backed sports technology start‑up that sits at the intersection of live event video production and college recruiting software. They’ve raised a recent seed round from a top‑tier VC and a major US pro league, and have multi‑year contracts across youth/high school events.They’re now hiring a founding-level Head of Event Video Operations to build and own the entire event video operation alongside the founder.You will:Design and run the event video ops playbook: staffing, equipment, logistics, on‑site QABuild out regional hubs (storage, gear, regional leads, student camera‑op pipelines, freelancers)Be on the ground at key events (12–15 weekends/year) solving problems and ensuring deliveryOwn relationships with event operators and tournament directors – be calm and professionalHelp commercialise the film: processes to market, sell and deliver game film at scaleYou might be a fit if you:Have 2+ years running live sports/events or video production operations (youth sports, tournaments, production vendors, etc.)Are comfortable with seasonal intensity + travel in summer/fall, with quieter off‑season periodsEnjoy rolling your sleeves up – from high‑level planning to last‑minute on‑site fixesWant real ownership and equity in an early‑stage company rather than just a jobThis is a rare chance to build a P&L‑driving business unit from the ground up with a highly ambitious founder.
