Production Assistant & Runner

Role Description We are looking for reliable and eager to learn Production Runner to join the Smashi Sports production team. You will be required to travel to pitches, clubs, and grounds, where you will set up camera equipment, start and monitor live streams, and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise to ensure uninterrupted coverage.In addition you will be responsible for equipment assigned to you, ensuring they are handled safely and maintained in good condition. You will also be expected to take proper care of the vehicle you use for work and provide support to the production team and your colleagues whenever required.This is a field-based role where no laptop is required. Employees will be provided with a company-branded vehicle, company mobile phone, and Smashi Sports uniform.The following job description details the skills and competencies required for this level.QualificationsMUST HAVE A valid UAE driving licence with a clean driving record.Previous professional driving experience is essential.Experience supporting events, media production, sports events, or similar field operations is an advantage but not required.Physically fit and able to lift and move production equipment.Working days are Wednesday - Sunday Wed-Thur (9-6) Fri-Sun (2pm-11pm)Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.RESPONSIBILITIES : Safely operate company vehicles to transport production crew, equipment, and materials.Ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and maintained in accordance with company standards.Load, unload, and transport production equipment to event locations.Assist the production team with basic setup and dismantling of equipment, including installing poles, signage, barriers, and other production materials.Support the team during live events by carrying out general field and operational tasks.Follow production schedules and travel between multiple locations as required.Represent Smashi Sports professionally while on-site and when interacting with clients, partners, and the public.Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies.Equipment Provided Company-branded fleet vehicle.Company mobile phone.Smashi Sports branded uniform.Camera, Tripod and Other streaming EquipmentPEOPLE :Assist in fostering a high performance led cultureBring along a positive, collaborative, ready to learn attitude at all times Develop SMART performance objectives alongside your line manager Promoting Augustus as a great place to work, ensuring positivity is championed and your team feels prepared to live out the 3 core values PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENTBuild on your emotional intelligence and self-awarenessGrow your presence in the industry, including relationships within agency partners and industry bodies to support professional statureComplete mandatory training ABOUT AUGUSTUSThe consumption of media is ever present, yet the mediums and the means are ever evolving.
