Production Assistant | Wholesale ApparelCompensation: $55,000-$65,000 base salary, depending on experience

Location: New York City, NY (On-Site, 5 days per week)C-Life Group is seeking a Production Assistant to join our New York City team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with apparel production or product development experience who is looking to build their career and gain hands-on exposure to the full production lifecycle.In this role, you’ll support the production process from initial sample requests through final delivery. You’ll work closely with production, design, vendors, and factory partners to coordinate samples and materials, communicate revisions, maintain accurate records, and help keep production activities on schedule.What You’ll Be DoingPrepare, review, and coordinate PP and TOP samples for customersTrack development samples, communicate design comments, and follow up on revisionsAssist with fabric and trim sourcing, costing, and vendor follow-upMaintain weekly work-in-progress reports with accurate statuses, outstanding actions, and deadlinesSupport communication with factories and internal teamsAssist with issuing purchase orders, ordering trims, and tracking production materialsSupport the review of lab dips and strike-offs and communicate commentsMonitor production progress and follow up on incomplete tasks to maintain the time-and-action calendarFlag delays, missing information, and material issues while helping drive timely resolutionsMaintain organized records of samples, approvals, costs, and production correspondenceWhat We’re Looking For2+ years of experience in apparel production, product development, sourcing, or a related areaStrong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailClear written and verbal communication skillsStrong proficiency in Microsoft ExcelAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProactive approach to problem-solving, follow-up, and completing tasksComfortable collaborating with production, design, vendor, and factory partnersNice to Have, But Not RequiredExperience supporting off-price or Costco businessExperience using the BeProduct systemFamiliarity with purchase orders, costing, trims, and production materialsExperience maintaining WIP reports, ERP records, or time-and-action calendarsWho This Role Is Great ForProduction Assistants or Coordinators looking to expand their apparel production experienceProduct development professionals interested in moving further into productionHighly organized individuals who enjoy managing samples, deadlines, and detailed production informationProfessionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working across multiple prioritiesCandidates who take initiative, communicate issues early, and consistently follow throughWhat Success Looks LikeSample requests, comments, and revisions are communicated accurately and completed on timeWIP reports, production records, and calendars remain current and reliableTrims and production materials are coordinated according to schedulePotential delays and missing information are identified early, with clear next stepsDesign, production, and factory partners receive timely updates that keep work movingAdditional Job Application TermsThis job is part of LinkedIn’s Full-Service Hiring beta program.
