A bit about us…Eleven years ago, Beavertown was born in a tiny BBQ joint in Haggerston, North London. Fast forward to today and we're brewing out of our Out-of-This-World mothership, Beaverworld, alongside our micro-brewery in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.Together, we've got the capacity to brew a mind-bending 90 million pints a year. That's a lot of great beer.What you'll be doing…You'll be part of our Brewing Operations team, responsible for turning raw materials into incredible beer while keeping quality, process and safety at the heart of everything you do.Brewhouse DutiesOperate our fully automated 150hl brewhouseTake ownership of wort production from start to finishManage co-products including spent grain and surplus yeastPrepare malt and brewing ingredientsCarry out brewhouse cleaning and CIP proceduresMonitor and update production systems including BOTEC, SAP and Microsoft applicationsPerform routine quality checks, yeast counts and viability testingManage raw material usage and stock levelsSupport brewing projects and continuous improvement initiativesCoach and support junior brewing team membersHelp ensure shift priorities are delivered safely and efficientlyCellaring DutiesYou'll also:Operate within our fully automated cellar environmentMonitor fermentation performance and beer qualityConduct vessel cleaning and sanitation processesManage yeast handling and storageRun centrifuge separation and sheet filtration processesMeasure CO₂ and dissolved oxygen levels in tankCarry out dry hopping and beer transfersEnsure beer is ready and in specification for packagingTroubleshoot process issues as they ariseMaintain accurate production records and documentationHelp maintain world-class standards across food safety, quality and hygieneWhat we're looking forYou'll Bring:Experience in a larger-scale production breweryStrong knowledge of brewing processes, equipment and brewing scienceExcellent attention to detail and record-keeping skillsGreat time management and organisational skillsA positive, hands-on attitudeStrong communication skills and an eagerness to learnThe ability to carry out physical work, including lifting loads up to 25kgKnowledge of mechanical or electrical engineeringBonus Points For:IBD General Certificate, Diploma or equivalent brewing qualificationMSc in Brewing or related discipline even better! Laboratory testing experienceWorking patternThis is a full-time role which includes night working on a rotational basis.
