The organization emphasizes strong technical support and industrial expertise to help clients improve performance, durability, and efficiency in their end products.Role Description The Production Chemist role is a full-time, on-site position based at IRF’s facility in Riyadh. The Production Chemist will oversee day-to-day production of resin and polymer products, including preparing batches, monitoring reactions, and adjusting process parameters to meet specifications. Responsibilities include conducting routine in-process and final product testing, documenting results, and working closely with production and quality teams to maintain safety, efficiency, and quality standards. The role also involves troubleshooting process issues, supporting scale-up of new formulations from R&D to production, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and relevant industry regulations. The Production Chemist will collaborate with technical staff to optimize formulations, improve yields, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the production line.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills, including handling chemicals safely, operating standard lab equipment, and preparing samples and formulations.Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Quality Control capabilities to perform tests, interpret data, and verify that products meet defined specifications.Candidates should possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and experience applying production and safety standards in an industrial or chemical manufacturing environment.Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D) skills to assist in developing, modifying, and scaling up resin and polymer formulations from lab to production.Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field are preferred.Experience in resin, polymer, coatings, or chemical manufacturing is highly beneficial, along with familiarity with process control and industrial safety practices.Effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a production environment are important for success in this role.
