Production Chemist – Tablets and Capsules

About The OpportunityA leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organization in India, focused on high-quality tablet and capsule production, seeks a detail-oriented Production Chemist to support GMP-compliant batch execution, in-process testing, and formulation stability. We operate in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment where precision, documentation, and process adherence directly impact patient safety and regulatory outcomes.Role & ResponsibilitiesConduct in-process quality checks during tablet and capsule manufacturing to ensure conformance to SOPs and specifications.Perform real-time testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using lab equipment (e.g., hardness tester, friabilator, disintegration tester).Document all production activities meticulously in batch records and QC logs with zero deviations.Collaborate with production supervisors and QA teams to resolve process inconsistencies, support root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.Maintain lab instruments, calibrate check equipment as per schedule, and ensure cleanliness and compliance of production sampling areas.Support scale-up activities and troubleshooting for new formulations or process changes in tablet and capsule lines.Skills & QualificationsMust-HavePharma Lab EquipmentIn-Process TestingGMP ComplianceBatch Record DocumentationTablet ManufacturingCapsule ManufacturingSOP AdherenceDeviation ReportingPreferredExperience with HPLC or UV SpectrophotometryKnowledge of ICH Q7 or USP standardsFamiliarity with ERP systems for batch trackingBenefits & Culture HighlightsOn-site roles with structured shift patterns and clear KPIs for growth.Work in a GMP-compliant, safety-first environment with regular training.Opportunity to contribute to high-impact production runs for domestic and export markets.Skills: compliance,capsules,manufacturing,testing,gmp
