Production Coordinator

Our client, a premium Los Angeles-based denim and ready-to-wear brand , is seeking a Production Coordinator to support their growing team. This role will focus heavily on import production, working closely with full-package vendors across RTW and denim categories.This is a highly detail-oriented, fast-paced role ideal for someone who thrives in managing timelines, communicating cross-functionally, and ensuring product moves seamlessly from development through bulk production and delivery.

Responsibilities

Support the end-to-end production process across RTW and denim, with a focus on import and full-package vendorsPartner closely with overseas factories to manage timelines, production status, and delivery expectationsTrack and maintain Time & Action calendars to ensure all production milestones are metIssue and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in cost, quantity, and delivery datesMonitor bulk fabric, trims, lab dips, and TOP approvals, ensuring all approvals are on trackCommunicate daily with cross-functional teams including Design, Tech, and Product DevelopmentTrack production progress and proactively identify and resolve potential delays or issuesMaintain WIP reports and provide regular updates to internal teamsSupport shipping coordination and partner with logistics to ensure on-time deliveriesEnsure all production aligns with quality standards and brand expectations

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in apparel production, preferably with import and full-package vendorsExperience working across denim and/or RTW categories strongly preferredStrong understanding of the production lifecycle from development through deliveryHighly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple styles at onceExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProactive problem solver with the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Excel and Microsoft OfficeExperience with PLM systems a plusAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with overseas vendors and internal teams
