With production facilities in the UAE, Made Retail serves clients across GCC, North Africa, South Asia, and parts of Europe.About the RoleMade Retail is looking for an organised, detail-driven Production Coordinator to join our team in Dubai. You will play a key part in planning and delivering high-end production work for luxury retail stores, pop-ups, shop-in-shops, duty-free counters, window displays, exhibitions, and bespoke fit-out projects across the GCC.Working closely with Project Managers and our Metal, Paint, Carpentry, and Acrylic department, you will keep projects on track from approved drawing to final installation. You will manage production coordination, material procurement, supplier follow-up, and delivery schedules, making sure every piece meets our clients' quality standards and launch deadlines. As the main link between design, production, and site teams, you will keep information flowing and projects moving.Essential Technical SkillsAutoCAD 2D at a strong level: reading, checking, and marking up shop and fabrication drawingsAbility to navigate and interpret 3D models in SketchUp or 3ds MaxKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and monitor daily workshop activity so every job is completed on time and to specification.Help Production Managers plan schedules and allocate resources across multiple live projects.Work with designers, project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to keep workflow smooth and materials available when needed.Manage the procurement cycle, from collecting quotations and preparing purchase orders to following up with suppliers.Keep production records accurate and up to date, including material lists, fabrication drawings, job orders, and delivery schedules.Carry out quality checks during production and before dispatch to confirm work matches approved designs and brand standards.Track stock levels and material usage, and flag requirements to procurement early to prevent shortages or delays.Support logistics and installation planning so all components are delivered, installed, and handed over on schedule.Raise production issues or delays promptly and help put practical solutions in place.Suggest process improvements that raise productivity and strengthen quality control.Qualifications & SkillsProven experience as a Production Coordinator, Production Assistant, or similar role in interior fit-out, joinery, events, or luxury retail productionSolid understanding of production workflows, materials (wood, metal, acrylic, finishes), fabrication methods, and quality standardsProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and in production or project tracking toolsStrong organisational and multitasking skills, with a sharp eye for detailClear, confident communication with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teamsAbility to stay calm and effective under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentKnowledge of UAE suppliers, workshops, and production standards is a strong advantageEducation & CertificationsBachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related fieldCertifications in Project or Production Management are an advantageSubstantial hands-on experience in workshop or site coordination may be considered in place of a formal degree
