Production Engineer - Alcoholic Beverage

A leading company in the alcoholic beverage industry is seeking a Production Engineer to join their team.The Production Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production operations, maintaining product quality, and improving productivity while minimizing production costs and waste. The role involves monitoring production activities, troubleshooting technical issues, implementing process improvements, and working closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.RequirementsPlan, monitor, and improve daily production activities to achieve production targetsEnsure production processes are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to approved proceduresMonitor production performance, machine utilization, output, downtime, scrap, and productivityIdentify production problems and implement effective corrective and preventive actionsAnalyze manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costsPrepare and maintain production reports, work instructions, process documentation, and performance recordsCoordinate with Maintenance to minimize machine breakdowns and production downtimeWork closely with the Quality Department to ensure products meet required specifications and quality standardsInvestigate production defects and implement root-cause analysis and corrective actionsSupport continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and waste reductionOptimize manpower, materials, machines, and production methodsAssist in production planning and ensure availability of required materials, tools, and equipmentSupport the introduction of new products, processes, machines, and production technologiesDevelop and monitor KPIs related to production efficiency, quality, downtime, and productivityEnsure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable manufacturing standardsTrain and provide technical guidance to production operators and technicians when requiredParticipate in improvement projects and cross-functional teams
