With an incredible portfolio of food & beverage products, NFPC currently has a fantastic opportunity for a talented Production Engineer to join our Production team.JOB PURPOSEThe Production Engineer is responsible for executing the production planning schedule, optimizing resource allocation, and managing material planning to ensure efficient, uninterrupted operations. This role ensures all products meet established quality standards, cost targets, and production timelines, while maintaining full compliance with food, health, and safety regulations.ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND KPIsPrepare the weekly mixing and processing plan in alignment with the weekly production plan.Assist the Production Manager in preparing the annual operating expense budget, monitor expenses every month with regular reporting, and provide inputs for annual CAPEX requirements.Drive processing plant operations to ensure full adherence to the defined production plan.Develop and maintain all necessary reports to assess and track production performance.Ensure compliance with NFPC standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete on-time delivery at the lowest possible cost.Maintain accurate records of ingredient receiving, mixing, pasteurization/UHT treatment, buffer storage, and handover to the Aseptic and Fresh Filling Sections, in accordance with established procedures.Maintain chemical parameters of all products within defined specifications, targeting near-zero processing loss and 100% batch yield through to buffer storage.Oversee the effective and efficient running of overall production operations.Identify and implement opportunities to reduce operational costs through optimal utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery (3M factors).Ensure adherence to procedures through regular audits and update SOPs as required.Investigate non-conformance notices (NCNs) and complaints to identify root causes, and provide workable solutions and improvement opportunities.Implement and maintain GMP practices and ensure compliance with ISO and HACCP standardsSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Dairy Technology or a related field5+ years of experience in the dairy and/or juice manufacturing industrySolid knowledge of dairy and juice processing equipment and production systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) for data analysis and reportingProven experience applying continuous improvement and lean tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma) to drive operational improvements
