Production Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor daily production activities to achieve output and efficiency targets.Ensure production schedules are carried out according to plan.Control production rejects and wastage, and implement corrective actions.Ensure compliance with product specifications, quality standards and ISO requirements.Analyze production and quality issues and drive continuous improvement.Optimize production processes using Lean Manufacturing principles.Work closely with relevant departments to ensure smooth production operations.Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and statutory requirements.Optimize manpower and develop production team capabilities.Job RequirementsDiploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing, Polymer Science, or a related field.At least 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.Added Advantage: Experience in extrusion or rubber manufacturing and familiarity with ISO standards and quality requirements.Skills & Competencies:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Hands-on, results-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.Able to work effectively with different departments to achieve production targets.
