Job Title: Production Engineer

We operate a multi-process factory with fabrication, assembly, powder coating, inspection, packing, and dispatch, serving customers who expect fast, reliable delivery in a high-mix, make‑to‑order environment.The RoleWe are looking for a hands-on Production Engineer to plan, manage, and execute production across our shop floor. This is not a conventional “line supervisor” role. You will own the production plan, remove bottlenecks, shorten lead times, and ensure urgent orders are delivered without compromising quality or safety.You will work closely with sales, purchasing, stores, quality, maintenance, and dispatch. HVAC experience is not mandatory. Strong candidates from electronics manufacturing, sheet‑metal fabrication, automotive, FMCG, pharma, or other discrete manufacturing backgrounds are welcome, provided you have real experience in production planning, process improvement, and workforce flexibility.Not limited to UAE residents: We encourage applications from qualified candidates worldwide. Current UAE residence is not required.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the production plan and hit delivery, quality, and cost targets.Manage capacity, bottlenecks, materials, and WIP across all departments.Re‑plan quickly for urgent orders, breakdowns, shortages, and absences.Allocate and cross‑train manpower to keep production flowing.Drive lead‑time, setup‑time, WIP, and rework reduction on the shop floor.Enforce standard work, safety, and quality requirements.Coach supervisors and team leaders in practical problem‑solving.What We’re Looking ForEducationBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Production, or related engineering.Electrical/Electronics Engineering may be considered with strong manufacturing experience.Diploma holders with exceptional practical experience and leadership capability will also be considered.Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, CPIM, or equivalent production‑planning certification is desirable.ExperienceMinimum 5 years in production engineering, production planning, manufacturing supervision, industrial engineering, or operations.Experience managing a workforce of approximately 40–100 people.Proven responsibility for production targets, manpower planning, scheduling, quality, downtime, and delivery.Experience in a job‑shop, batch‑production, high‑mix/low‑volume, or make‑to‑order environment.Demonstrated success in reducing lead time, improving productivity, or recovering delayed orders.Experience coordinating multiple processes such as fabrication, machining, assembly, finishing, inspection, packing, and dispatch.Experience with powder coating or another finishing process is useful but not essential.Technical ExperienceLean toolsERP/MRP or production‑control softwareRoot‑cause problem solving Why Join UsOpportunity to shape production strategy in a growing manufacturing business.Real impact on lead time, customer satisfaction, and factory performance.A role that values practical problem‑solving over paperwork.A team that respects experience, initiative, and continuous improvement.
