This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing daily production activities to ensure furniture is manufactured efficiently, safely, and in line with quality standards. The Production Engineer will monitor production schedules, allocate resources, and coordinate with design, procurement, and workshop teams to meet delivery timelines. Tasks include optimizing workflows, troubleshooting production issues, implementing process improvements, and maintaining documentation related to production performance and quality metrics. The role also involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, and communicating clearly with team members and management to keep projects on track.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Production Engineering knowledge relevant to furniture manufacturing and factory operations.Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to assess production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective process improvements.Candidates should possess expertise in Production Planning to manage schedules, resources, and workflow coordination.Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to ensure products meet established standards and client specifications.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for clear coordination with cross-functional teams and reporting to management.Relevant technical degree or diploma in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Experience in furniture manufacturing or a similar production environment is highly beneficial.Proficiency in using production management tools, basic CAD or furniture manufacturing software, and MS Office applications.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Knowledge of workplace safety practices and compliance with local regulations in a factory setting.
